John is an inspiration; he’s full to the brim with incredible knowledge of the natural world, a fantastic craftsman and all round wonderful human. Not to mention he can do the best animal noises and tells amazing stories! We’re very lucky to be able to welcome him back to Kith in 2023.

This bushcraft morning workshop is designed to give you as a parent with your kid(s) an opportunity to learn more about the natural world; taking time together to strengthen your relationships and learn new skills. You’ll gain confidence for all your family adventures and new skills to last a lifetime.

Come with us into the woods for a family bushcraft morning.

Over years working in outdoor environments, John has developed activities using bushcraft and survival as a medium to engage with both adults and young people. Outdoor activities, particularly those that involve adventure provide excellent tools to engage with our children, they break down barriers, help us to overcome fears, develop new skills and disciplines which can be transferred into areas of everyday life.
